about

I wrote this when I found out that Jay Reatard had died. I had never been inspired to write something based on someone's death, or based on a death of someone I had never met before. So that's what this is. I've been really inspired by his music for the past several years.

lyrics

I know if you go anywhere without me
you'd go back home
Somewhere that's safe and cold and dark
Will you come back out?
When you think things have blown away
I would really like that.
Because it's not the same with out you....

Didn't you know?
Didn't you know?
Didn't you know?
Didn't you know?

It's been too long
without you by my side
you know I don't know where
to find some fun all by myself
you know without you there
where did you go the other day
I only found your shadow
Where did you go?
I don't know

Didn't you know?
Didn't you know?
Didn't you know?

about

VISTALITE Los Angeles, California

It turns out all my songs are about death. I hope to remedy that one day, because I have two daughters and I don't want them to think I'm weird, or anything.
